Did not have what was order, would not substitute, and made be contact seamless to get my money back. Very disappointing!

Why did the menu change? At least three of my faves, the antipasto misto changed (who wants marinated red peppers & zucchini with the meat and cheese?) and no more bavette or ravioli without the shrimp?

Mediocre italian. Prices have risen three times on the same few dishes ordered over the course of a two month period. Prices used to be understandable, now they simply are not on par wIth the quality of the dish. The staff has never been nice and so i bypassed that interaction by just ordering to my nearby apartment.

I had the fettuccine bolognese. So good! Different than normal, and great. Good portion size, and bread. Thoughtful delivery guy, yummyness all around. Just took off one star because I think it's a little pricey for what it is (but probably not for the area).

I ordered the Fettuccine al Fungni and it looked like it had been sitting out in the desert heat for days. There was no sauce and therefore dried up and stuck together. I had to throw it out, it was a disaster. I guess my expectations were too high because my friends and the ratings suggested this place.

Creative bolognese, not exactly traditional, but exactly delicious

the most amazing food and the delivery was so quick

The food is usually decent, nothing amazing, but okay. Tonight however, is likely the last time we will order from this restaurant. The food was really bland, mushy, and just didn't taste good at all. Plus it took an hour to get it.

Their food is incredible. Favorite is the veal. The linguine with clams is delicious but it's not enough food. Delivery very quick.

Very well prepared italian food. One of our favorites!

The Taglierini Verdi alla Bolognese is awesome! I also like the rigatoni pollo pazzo. To be honest, I haven't branched out beyond those two even though I order from here pretty regularly. The bread they send with the pasta is great and can be like a meal in itself.

it said it would take 25-40 minutes to come, I am 5 blocks away from the restaurant. It has now been over an hour and a half and I am still waiting... The person that I talked to on the phone was no help at all, very dissapointing

The pizzas arent on here...I called to order and they left me on hold for 10 min. I called back and got the same thing. So we we settled on the Mac and Cheeese which is supposed to have truffle, but was no where to be found. Dissapointing

The pesto was lacking in flavor...and the cheese just clumped together.

Best Italian on the Upper West Side!

This place is a rip-off. $3 for a can of coke; I assumed it would be a small bottle or a large cup, but no, just a can. No free bread as other users have described either. The $7 dessert was the same story as the coke, a rip-off. The pasta I had wasn't bad, but nothing fantastic, and a small portion, of course. On the bright side, delivery was super quick, (6 blocks away and received the food 15 minutes after placing order!) but you probably already guessed that... These people should be ashamed of themselves.

Prompt efficient delivery, even in the rain. Terrific food, extraordinary fresh bread.

Great bavette al pesto, but the spiedini would have been better left alone instead of served with a pile of fried vegetables.

Everything at this restaurant is nothing short of fantastic. A true Hell's Kitchen gem.

At 8:00pm last night, I ordered spagetti and meatballs to be delivered at 9:15pm. At 9:30pm, nothing had arrived and so I called Puttanesca. The host told me that the delivery had gone out already and should be there at any moment. Ok fine. 10:00pm rolls around and still nothing. I call Puttanesca back and the same host tells me that they left it with the doorman. Why they would leave it with the doorman is beyond me. So I called the doorman and no delivery had come in. So I call Puttanesca for a 3rd time and the same host now tells me that they delivered it to the wrong address and that they were going to pick it up and have it redelivered to me. Mind you, its now 10:15pm, 2 hours after I placed the order and 1 hour after it was supposed to be delivered, and what they want to do is pick up a cold order of spagetti and meatballs and bring it to me. I just told them to forget it and cancel the order. Why didn't they automatically call me when they realized it was the wrong address? Why did I have to call 3 times? Really not professional service from a restaurant. This morning I go online to seamlessweb to make sure the order was cancelled. It wasn't so I had to call seamlessweb. Order at your own risk. I have no idea how they could mess a delivery up so bad.

Pasty noodles and sauce made me think I accidentally ordered from chef boyardee. Edible, but nothing more than that.

Vongole was pretty good and the puttanesca passable. Bread was excellent (love to mop up a good garlicky pasta sauce with good fresh Italian bread). Minus one star for the Ceasar salad, which barely covered the base of the container.

yum! the macaroni & cheese with truffles is a decadent delight and the generous portion of crusty bread they include makes this the perfect 'comfort lunch' !

Always delivered as though it came right out of the kitchen. I order from them a lot, and it is always delicious and warm upon arrival. Highly recommend this place!

Salmon was very good. Delivery time estimate said 20-35 minutes, but the order took over an hour to be delivered... Judging from other peoples comments, that seems to be the norm for them. They need to revise their estimated delivery time.

This is my favorite seamlessweb restaurant to order from. Try the gnocchi w/ mozzarella. AMAZING!

stay away-great decor, but dont be fooled....the seafood smells fishy; the vegetarian food is over cooked and poorly made.

Excellent food that they didn't try to over-do. Great for delivery when you don't want "fast food." Go for a pasta.

I've never had a bad meal from Puttanesca, although their steak has been sub-par the last few times I've ordered it - tough and tasteless. Their salads, Cornish hen, roast potatoes, and pasta are wonderful. Their flourless chocolate cake comes with gelato and raspberry sauce, and is to die for! My husband and I order a lot via seamlessweb.com, but Puttanesca has to be one of our absolute favorites on the site. JG
